Please note the following important conditions:
- The Complaint Board only considers cases involving private customer relations or relations not differing considerably from these.
- The Complaint Board is not able to consider your case until you have approached the financial institution in question and received a refusal or an unsatisfying reply.
- The fee is DKK 200 and the Complaint Board is unable to consider your complaint until it has received your fee. The fee will be returned in the case of a decision that is completely or partly in your favour.
- By signing this form you consent to allow the financial institution that is the subject of your complaint - irrespective of their professional secrecy – to give information to the Complaint Board for further treatment of your case.
Pengeinstitutankenævnet (The Complaint Board of Banking Services) has been established by Finansrådet (The Danish Bankers Association), Sammenslutningen Danske Andelskasser (The Union of Danish Co-operative Banks) and Forbrugerrådet (The Danish Consumer Council) in order to deal with complaints from customers against financial institutions. The Board has been approved by the Ministry of Economi and Business Affairs pursuant to the Danish Act of Consumer Complaints, section 5.
